This post is designed for candidates with previous experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
We are active in the teaching of both Medical Students and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Trainees as part of the Nottingham Medical School rotation.
Participation in out of hours on-call rota will be expected.
We are looking for 2 candidates.
You will be expected to undertake the following duties:
• Provision of a service to Sherwood Forest Hospitals, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department
• The post holder is expected to contribute towards the teaching and training of medical students
• Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences
• Responsibilities for carrying out teaching duties as required and contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activity
• Participating in medical audit, the Trust’s Clinical Governance processes and in CPD – CPD is provided in job plans and attendance at audit and other governance meetings is mandatory. We would encourage contribution to Quality Improvement processes including sustainable development within the department and across the trust.
