Job Advert

About Us.

PA Media Group is a diverse portfolio of specialist media companies spanning news, data, technology and communications. Our flagship brand, PA Media, is the national news agency for the UK and Ireland.

Our purpose is simple but critical: to build trust in news, data and content and to support this, we are investing in a significant technology-led transformation, modernising how we plan, prioritise and deliver work so we can make better decisions, move at pace and focus our effort where it has the greatest impact.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Delivery Manager into a new Transformation team, created as part of a broader shift in how PA Media Group delivers change under our new CTO.

This role exists because the business is changing.

We are moving away from fragmented delivery and towards a single, comparable view of strategic initiatives, enabling our Leadership Team to make confident investment and sequencing decisions that are grounded in customer, commercial and delivery insight.

As a Delivery Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of that change.

You’ll work across technology, product, commercial and editorial teams to help us:

* Accelerate outcomes through faster, evidence-led decision making
* Maximise return on limited time, money and people
* Create transparency and alignment, so teams share signals, learn quickly and leaders can act with confidence

This is a hands-on role with real influence: not just tracking delivery but shaping how delivery works.

You’ll be based in our Paddington office typically three days a week, working closely with senior leaders across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing.

In this role, you will:

* Lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives from early discovery through to launch and transition into business-as-usual
* Create clarity where there is ambiguity, helping teams align on outcomes, priorities and sequencing
* Surface risks, dependencies and trade-offs early, enabling better decisions rather than late surprises
* Provide transparent, insight-led updates to senior stakeholders, including the CTO and Director of Transformation
* Challenge existing ways of working when they slow delivery or dilute impact, proposing smarter and more effective approaches
* Help establish consistent delivery practices, shared signals and governance across the transformation portfolio

About You

You don’t need to tick every box, we’re more interested in how you think than the labels on your CV.

You’re likely to bring:

* Strong experience delivering complex initiatives in technology-enabled or product-led environments
* Confidence working with senior leaders and navigating competing priorities
* A pragmatic understanding of delivery approaches (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) and when to apply them
* The ability to turn complexity into clear insight and actionable next steps
* A collaborative mindset — you bring people with you, rather than pushing change onto them
* Experience in media, data or large-scale transformation is helpful, but not essential.

Why Join?

This is a rare opportunity to help shape a delivery function from the ground up, at a moment when the organisation is genuinely open to change.

You’ll have:

* Visibility and influence at executive level
* Space to improve how decisions are made, not just what gets delivered
* The chance to build long-term delivery capability that directly supports PA Media Group’s purpose and future sustainability

What We Offer

Alongside a competitive salary, we offer:

* 25 days holiday plus 8 public holidays
* Holiday purchase scheme
* Life assurance (4x salary)
* Enhanced parental leave
* Wellbeing and volunteering days
* Pension (4% employer contribution)
* Onsite gym
