Crynodeb
Administrative Support & Workforce Coordination To monitor daily staffing levels and workload across all administrative areas and provide cover for annual leave, sickness and periods of high workload for the registrations and administration office. To assist with patient registration and general administrative duties as required. To compile and maintain the monthly duty rota and ensure this is displayed on the practice front page. To support with morning patient telephone calls for appointment bookings during peak demand. Patient Recalls & Searches To perform patient searches and recalls to support population health management. To coordinate recall of children for routine immunisations. To complete monthly PPA submissions to ensure timely claiming of prescribing income. Practice Operations & Facilities To monitor room allocations and duty slots on EMIS, ensuring appropriate availability and escalate any issues to the Operations Manager. To check daily that laboratory reports, documents and medicines management tasks have been reallocated to doctors that are in. To ensure appropriate daily cover is in place for clinical samples to be taken. To ensure the practice website is kept up to date with accurate and current information. To complete weekly fire alarm tests and Little Green Button tests in line with policy and record outcomes appropriately. To carry out monthly room checks and ensure any maintenance or safety issues are reported and followed up. To record and maintain monthly legionella checks in accordance with practice policy. IT & Systems Support To provide planned and ad hoc support for IT, computer and printer issues, escalating to external providers where required. To assist in maintaining effective use of clinical and administrative systems to support operational efficiency.
