Crynodeb
A highly skilled practitioner in the assessment and treatment of communication difficulties and eating and drinking difficulties within specialist complex caseloads of people with learning disability, who provides second opinions for other Speech & Language Therapistswithin and outside of the department. Contributes to the identification of training needs of the Speech & Language Therapists and other professionals and carries out training within the Learning Disabilities Service. Leads research and audit within Learning Disabilities Service. Leads projects and service redesign within the Learning Disabilities Service. Is responsible for clinical supervision of Specialist Speech & Language Therapists, Speech & Language Therapy Practitioners and Assistants and Students working within the Learning Disabilities Service.
