Are you a reliable telehandler operator looking for a short-term contract on the coast? We are seeking an experienced driver to provide holiday cover on a busy new build housing site in Hornsea.

If you are available for an immediate, short-term stint and have a proven track record on residential sites, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

This is a fast-paced role supporting the site team while their permanent operator is away. You will be responsible for keeping the site moving and ensuring trades stay supplied.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating a telescopic handler to move materials across a live housing site.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are stored safely.
  • Distributing bricks, blocks, and timber to loading bays for various trades.
  • Performing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining the machine's cleanliness.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to prioritize tasks and maintain safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS card (with the Telehandler category).
  • Previous experience working on new build housing sites.
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel toe boots).
  • A proactive approach to site safety and efficiency.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Reliable transport to the Hornsea area.
