Position: Training and Development Officer – Home Care
Location: Kirkintilloch/Glasgow
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Reports To: Head of Care/ HR

To support our growing team, we are seeking a dedicated Training and Quality Assurance Lead to join our organisation.
Job Summary:
The Trainer will be responsible for conducting training needs analyses, designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within our care services. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the skills and knowledge of our workforce to ensure exceptional care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT DUTIES:
Training Needs Analysis:
Produce an induction training schedule for all new care staff, ensuring the content covers all mandatory courses and includes both practical and theoretical learning.
Ensure all required equipment is available for training sessions.
Where possible ensure the regular servicing and maintenance of training equipment.
Conduct and analyse Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify training requirements for all staff.
Training Delivery and Documentation:
Deliver training to new and existing staff, both in-person and virtually.
Delivery Induction, specialist and refresher Training programmes
Manage the e-learning function with the HR Officer.
Oversee the training matrix for each office, ensuring it is kept up to date by the administrative team
Ensure refresher training is booked and updated on the matrix by the administrative team.
Explore outsourced training opportunities, book relevant training sessions, and act as the main point of contact for training providers.
Oversee e-learning portal with the support of the HR officer, ensuring all care staff complete allocated online training.
Training Evaluation
All other training and quality assurance duties deemed necessary for service improvement.

Experience in Social Care as a Coordinator or similar position
