Diary Unit Admin Support Officer

Location: Hillsborough
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Rate of Pay: £15.83 per hour
Contract: Temporary, ongoing

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Diary Admin Support Officer to join a busy agricultural team. The successful candidate will support the Dairy Herd Manager with a range of administrative duties, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and the smooth running of daily operations.

This role will involve pulling reports, updating and maintaining databases, and ensuring herd records are accurate and up to date. It is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Dairy Herd Manager
  • Pull, analyse and format reports as required
  • Upload data and maintain accurate records across multiple databases
  • Manage and update herd information in line with compliance requirements
  • Support with documentation, filing systems and general admin tasks
  • Liaise with internal staff to ensure timely flow of information
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure excellent data accuracy

Essential Criteria

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent or higher) - must include English and Maths at Grade A-C
  • Strong administrative experience, including report generation and working with databases and digital records
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Confident IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and support wider team functions

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge or education in Agriculture/Farming (e.g., livestock experience, agricultural studies, or familiarity with herd management systems)
  • Previous experience within a farming, dairy, agricultural, or environmental setting
