We are looking for a confident, friendly, and reliable individual to join our supportive team in Ross-on-Wye.About the RoleThis is a dynamic dual role where you will be the face of our centre. You will balance the vital responsibility of poolside safety with the high-energy environment of our reception desk. Whether you are ensuring a safe swim or providing a warm welcome at the front door, you’ll be essential to our customers' experience.As a Lifeguard, you will:Provide safe supervision of the pool area and prevent accidents.Respond quickly to emergencies, performing rescues and first aid when required.Maintain a clean, safe, and professional poolside environment.As a Front of House Assistant, you will:Provide a professional welcome and helpful information to all visitors.Efficiently handle bookings, memberships, and general enquiries.Process payments accurately and maintain high customer service standards.Your Rota & HoursWe operate a 4-week rolling rota to help you plan your work-life balance.Hours: 20 hours per week.Shifts: A mixture of early and late shifts.Weekends: Working 2 out of every 4 weekends.Operating Times: Mon-Fri (5:45 am - 9:15 pm) | Weekends (7:45 am - 1:30 pm).What We Are Looking ForQualification: A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred. However, if you have the drive, we may provide training for the right candidate.Personality: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.Composure: The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.Experience: Previous customer-facing experience is a plus, but not essential.Why Join Us?
