We are WorkwithYork and we are working with our York based client to find a full time Technical Officer in Waste services.
This is a full time (37 hours per week Mon-Fri), temporary assignment for the next 3 months with potential scope for extension. This will be an office based role, within walking distance of York City Centre.
The pay rate is £13.86 per hour.
This role involves:
Dealing directly with customers by telephone and electronically
Providing excellent customer service with the aim of resolving queries at first point of contact
Dealing with complaints and requests for service, arranging deliveries, dealing with missed collections, explaining policy and procedures and signposting to other services
Supporting various administrative tasks across the service including the recording of information and updating of databases and systems
You will need:
Previous customer service and administration experience
Excellent IT skills
Good problem solving skills
Great attention to detail
