Groundworker Apprentice

We're looking for a Groundworker Apprentice to join our Natural Resources, Infrastructure team working on our Anglian Water contract based in Norfolk, working towards a Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship. Location: Norfolk

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £17,800 per annum



How does an apprenticeship work?

As a Groundworker Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Level 2 Groundworker Apprenticeship, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Natural Resources, Infrastructure team to provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets..

Your day to day will include:

-install underground utilities safely and with a right first time attitude.

-set out and install all above ground services i.e. kerbs street furniture etc, lay and finish concrete to approved levels.

-Reading a variety of construction drawings, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and be able to interpret a range of construction site documentation.

-Support ground preparation and use geo-membranes to stabilise the soil for excavations and reinstatement.

-Attending college (Bridgwater and Taunton College) on a block release basis.
