Working hours: 35 hours per week, working a minimum of 40% across each month in the Territorial Headquarters, London, SE5 8FJ Interview Date: To be confirmedWe are looking to hire a PR and Communications Assistant to provide administrative support and act as the first point of contact for enquiries from the media, public, and staff.This role is part of a busy PR and Communications team that helps The Salvation Army communicate about its mission to support vulnerable, isolated, and marginalised people and fight on their behalf for social justice.Key responsibilities include;Monitoring media coverageCompiling team rotasProcessing invoicesMaintaining online filing systemsSupporting the delivery of PR activities and events.The ideal candidate will have;Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational abilitiesThe capacity to work effectively under time pressure.In return, we offer an interesting and varied role that involves working with colleagues from across The Salvation Army. This position would suit someone with an interest in PR and the media.
