Summary
Role summary:
Provide hands-on domiciliary care to service users in their own homes. Support clients with personal care, mobility, meals, medication, and day-to-day living tasks while promoting their safety, dignity, and independence.
Key responsibilities:
Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Support with meal preparation and dietary needs
Administer medication in line with care plans and monitor client well-being
Assist with mobility and safe transfers
Maintain accurate care records and report concerns
Provide companionship and support to encourage independence
Help maintain a clean and safe living environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in care work (home care, hospice, assisted living, or similar)
Ability to work independently in the community
Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
Full, clean driving licence advantageous
Relevant health and social care qualifications or training are a plus
