Open Door Project CIC is recruiting a Programme Manager to oversee and develop our community learning programmes supporting women from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
About the role
This is a key leadership role responsible for coordinating programmes, supporting staff and tutors, and ensuring high-quality delivery across our services.
You will:
• Manage and coordinate community learning programmes
• Support tutors, sessional staff, and volunteers
• Oversee timetables, planning, and delivery of sessions
• Ensure programmes meet community needs and funder requirements
• Monitor attendance, outcomes, and learner progress
• Work closely with the Director and partners
• Contribute to reporting, evaluation, and programme development
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
• Organised, proactive, and reliable
• Experienced in community work, education, or the voluntary sector
• Confident managing people and programmes
• Culturally sensitive and values-driven
• Passionate about supporting women and marginalised communities
Experience & qualifications
• Programme or project management experience essential
• Experience working with migrant or refugee communities strongly welcomed
• Formal qualifications helpful but not essential
