Summary
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Practice Manager and/or partners, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels. The duties and responsibilities of the Data and IT Manager to include the following: Ensure a good knowledge of service specifications eg QOF, ECF, IIF, imms and plan how to achieve these targets through co-ordinating nursing and pharmacist clinics Perform EMIS and Ardens searches, audits, and reports to maximise target attainment. Monitoring recall register. This may include creating and modifying EMIS and Accurax templates/protocols/forms/documents Complete and submit monthly or quarterly enhanced service claims Monitor weekly/monthly care home specification requirements to ensure these are met Update website, screen slides in waiting rooms and answer phone messages as necessary Organise and coordinate annual Flu/Covid Campaign with logistical oversight to ensure supply, patient invites, clinics Be involved in project work (e.g. new software/app launch) as directed by Practice Manager. Participate in practice improvement and digital transformation projects Manage 4-5 admin staff members (rota/annual leave/absences) of the support team and carry out appraisals/development support Set up IT profiles etc for new starters including Smartcard. Assist in the training of new staff on EMIS system. Support with IT issues to ensure smooth running of the clinics. Working with IT lead to help facilitate new IT solutions.
