HGV Mechanics Required

Region: Stoke-on-Trent ( ST3 )

Temporary to Permanent Vacancy

Key role and responsibilities for Mechanic

- Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet
- Vehicle inspections
- MOT prep/ presentation
- VOSA / DVLA paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online R2C systems
- Diagnosis and rectification
- Safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all times
- Good mechanical understanding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Valid Class B, B1 Driving licence required - C+E would also be advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Functional IT knowledge beneficial
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Awareness of Health and Safety as it relates to our industry

Working hours are:
Monday to Friday
7.30 till 16.30
early finish on fridays

Salary: FROM £15.00 per hour PAYE, paid weekly
Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply
