What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the recent growth of our Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our Central Finance Team, and we are seeking to recruit a Trust Management Accountant.

With a new CFO in place and a recent restructure of the finance team, this is an opportunity for a hands-on, ambitious and technically astute management accountant to take ownership of and develop the central finance processes and reporting.

Tame River Educational Trust has a plan for growth, and this role has the opportunity for a clear career development path for the right candidate or can offer a stable career path for an accomplished accountant to support the Trust’s strategic plans.

This role would appeal to accountants looking for a varied finance role who enjoy working with people and can support our school leadership and departmental teams with sound financial reporting and compliance management.

The successful candidate will hold a financial accounting qualification and have experience of preparing management accounts, year-end processes and reporting and budget holder/cost centre reporting.

This role is primarily based with our Trust central finance team at Droylsden Academy, with some travel to our individual schools as required. Hybrid working is also available.
