What skills and experience we're looking for
We require a resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our EYFS team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Early Years Practitioner). This post will play a key role in supporting children across the phase. You will work under the direction of the Phase Leader and Teachers.
All candidates should have experience of working in a school environment or with young people.
Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit consists of a 39 place Nursery and a 60 place Reception provision.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement and enhance the high quality provision.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Have a good knowledge and experience of working within the EYFS framework
• Have a passion for working with children and enhancing their development
• Have the skills and knowledge to support children with a range of needs, using effective strategies to promote positive learning
• Be confident being responsible for a group of key children
• Have previous experience of supporting Nursery children
• Have proven class and behaviour management skills
• Be someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to challenge, inspire and motivate the children
• Be open to new ideas and committed to working as part of the school team
• Show a commitment to on-going professional development
