Summary


We are looking for aself motivated, independent, organised and resourceful Service Co-ordinatorto work for the Community Diagnostic Centre business unit.

You will provide strong operational management and leadership to the Business Unit on a day-to-day basis, developing and managing high quality, responsive and efficient services, in line with Business Directorate and Trust Strategic direction.

You will coordinate and line manage the administrative team within your area, encouraging team working and sharing of good practice.

You will liaise closely with the clinical team, admin team, Service Manager and other Unit Managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of service.

1.1 Provide strong operational management and leadership to the Business Unit on a day to day basis, developing and managing high quality, responsive and efficient services, in line with the Business Unit and Trust Strategic Direction.
1.2 Manage administrative staff within the Business Unit, encouraging team working and sharing of good practice.
1.3 Work closely with consultant, nursing and support staff who contribute to the activity of the Business Unit, encouraging multi-disciplinary or ‘triumvirate’ working where possible.
1.4 Manage human and financial resources to help deliver local and national performance targets and other national standards
1.5 Daily management of theatre, and clinic utilisation and productivity.
1.6 Ensure outpatient and theatre resources are used efficiently/productivity.
1.7 Delivery of national constitutional standards, inclusive of Cancer and RTT.
1.8 Support with compliance regime in Trust (inclusive of high quality and timely resolution of incidents, complaints, risks and derogations from CQC/regulatory standards).
Support adequate flow through clinical areas, working collaboratively with clinical staff in order to achieve this.
