Summary
Our client, a leading educational institution in Bradford, West Yorkshire, is seeking a talented and dedicated Part-time Bradford Tutor to join their team. As a Part-time Bradford Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalised tutoring services to students in the Bradford area. In this role, you will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver engaging, one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions that address the specific learning needs of students in the Bradford area
- Collaborate with our client to develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching strategies
- Regularly assess student progress and provide detailed feedback to both students and our client
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of students
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a tutoring or teaching role, preferably in the Bradford area
- Excellent subject matter expertise in one or more core academic subjects, such as English, maths, or science
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and our client
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students to reach their full potential
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student
- Proficient in the use of technology and digital learning tools to enhance the tutoring experience
