Summary

Job Title: Multiskilled Operative - HS2 Engineering Project


Location: Banbury area, Oxfordshire

About the Role:
Join one of the UK's most transformative infrastructure projects! We're seeking experienced Multiskilled Operatives to work on the High Speed 2 (HS2) engineering project, supporting a range of civil engineering and construction activities. You'll play a critical role in the safe and efficient delivery of works across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a variety of general construction, groundwork, and site maintenance tasks.

  • Operate tools, small plant, and machinery (e.g., dumpers, rollers, breakers).

  • Assist tradespeople and engineers with installation and assembly work.

  • Support utility diversions, drainage works, concrete pours, and general civils.

  • Adhere to site safety protocols and ensure a clean, organised work area.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Skilled worker Blue CSCS card.

  • Proven experience on large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).

  • CPCS / NPORS tickets for plant (advantageous).

  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CAT & Genny, Manual Handling, Confined Spaces, or First Aid.

  • Previous experience working on major projects like HS2, Crossrail, or similar.
