Role Overview
We are looking a Female Night Care Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to an adult with complex care needs living independently in their home. This role requires a calm, consistent, and person-centred approach, with a strong focus on dignity, safety, and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will work closely with the individual, their family, and the management team to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes.
This role is restricted to female applicants in line with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9 – Occupational Requirement).
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality personal care and support with activities of daily living
* Support and promote wellbeing, structure, and positive night-time routines
* Respond appropriately and calmly to challenging behaviours
* Maintain accurate daily records and handovers
* Work in partnership with family members and management to ensure consistent care delivery
* Follow care plans, risk assessments, and organisational policies at all times
* Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
* Medication Adminstration via PEG
Essential Requirements:
* Female applicant (occupational requirement)
* Experience working in care or support roles, ideally with complex needs
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
* Good communication skills (written and spoken English)
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts independently
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in community or one-to-one care settings
* Training in:
* Challenging Behaviour
* Positive Behaviour Support
* Safeguarding Adults
* Medication Administration
* Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
