We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical and building services maintenance across a variety of client properties within the designated region.
This role requires strong electrical bias expertise, with a focus on fault finding, repairs, planned maintenance, and installation work.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional who can consistently meet service expectations, support wider building services maintenance needs, and represent the company to a high standard.
The role includes proactive, reactive, and compliance-driven activities, as well as participation in an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance within agreed SLAs.
Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs, and installation tasks across client sites.
Support wider building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related duties.
Provide callout response as part of the regional callout rota.
Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
Ensure all electrical equipment performs to specified criteria and operational standards.
Maintain compliance with company standards across all equipment and work areas.
Represent the business professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Significant experience in reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
Background in FM or building services within commercial environments.
NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2
OR
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2
OR
City & Guilds 236 / 2360 Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2
AND
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Even better with:
City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5).
JIB Accredited.
IPAF / PASMA.
