Your new company
You'll be joining a major organisation undergoing a large-scale technology transformation, modernising complex operational systems and investing in secure, resilient, and future-ready digital capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile programmes and play a key role in shaping next generation technology across a diverse environment.
Your new role
As the Technology & Integration Manager, you will provide specialist technical support to the Head of IT during a major systems replacement programme. You will help ensure new technologies are secure, well governed, technically sound, and integrated effectively with existing enterprise platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
Technical Programme Support
- Reviewing supplier system requirement specifications covering software, hardware, hosting, and data integration.
- Working directly with suppliers to validate architectures, back‑office integration, and compatibility with current technology environments.
- Assessing new and emerging technologies including connectivity platforms, CCTV solutions, diagnostic tools, and allocation or reservation systems.
- Tracking technical actions, risks, dependencies, and integration issues across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement
- Acting as a key link between IT, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and external suppliers.
- Supporting the drafting and review of technical schedules, service‑related documentation, ESCROW requirements, software specifications, and data lifecycle considerations.
- Managing supplier deliverables and ensuring documentation is accurately routed to the appropriate subject-matter experts.
Operational Readiness & Support Models
- Helping define support models for new technologies, including diagnostic tools, specialist equipment, and data‑handling processes.
- Working closely with operational teams to define required competencies and transitional support arrangements during system rollout phases.
Reporting & Risk Management
- Maintaining detailed registers covering security risks, software inventories, technical dependencies, and integration challenges across multiple programmes.
What you'll need to succeed
- A strong background in IT infrastructure, operational technology, or complex system integration.
- Experience with embedded, networked, or safety related digital systems.
- Ability to interpret technical schedules, documentation, contracts, and supplier specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
- A proactive, highly capable consultant or contractor who can take ownership, work independently, and operate effectively within fast-moving programmes.
What you'll get in return
- The chance to play a pivotal role in a major technology transformation initiative.
- Exposure to advanced technologies and leading suppliers working across complex digital ecosystems.
- A varied, influential role where your expertise will directly shape future operational capability.
- A flexible contract (6 months initially), with extension opportunities based on programme needs.
- A collaborative environment where your input will make a tangible impact.
