We are seeking a skilled and motivated Estates Engineer to join our team, delivering both reactive and planned maintenance acrossWexham Park Hospitaland theSlough Community Diagnostic Centre. This is a varied, hands-on role that plays a vital part in keeping essential healthcare facilities safe, compliant, and fully operational. The post-holder will also participate in the Trust’s out-of-hours emergency on-call rota.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, minor improvement works and capital projects across the Trust, in line with management direction.
• Ensure all work is completed in full compliance with Trust safety standards, statutory regulations, and agreed procedures.
• Undertake complex and non-routine engineering tasks, using initiative and technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
• Calibrate, maintain and fault-find on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, including:
• Low Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) systems
• General air conditioning controls and systems
• Steam raising plant and associated equipment
• Steam steriliser systems
• Work a standard shift pattern and actively contribute to the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota, supporting essential services when needed.
