We are looking for an active and friendly PA to provide ad hoc support of around 6 to 10 hours per week to a 15 year old who is working on developing his independence.
Typically during weekday evenings of Tues / Fri/ Thurs 4-9 pm and alternate weekend days of 12pm to 8 pm, however these may vary depending on his needs and to be discussed at interview.
He is currently a year 11 student and the PA would be there to aid him in his daily routines, social time when accessing the community and during his study time as he is working towards being more independent and gaining life skills.
Some other duties would include household chores such as cleaning, cooking, laundry etc. as well as providing him with encouragement when it comes to personal care tasks such as brushing teeth, haircare, etc.
He enjoys motorsport, rapping, making videos, going to the gym and walking outdoors.
A driving license with access to their own car is essential and care experience in Cerebral palsy, physio and OT therapies is preferred.
References and DBS required.

- Employee needs to be fit enough to lift a folding wheelchair in and out of car and be able to push a wheelchair on occasions, as well as assist with therapy at the gym or accompany him on short hikes max 6 miles on occasion, but generally shorter distances.

Additional requirements
- Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
