Salary: £59,697-£66,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm)

Lead a community-style outpatient pharmacy in a hospital setting - grow your clinical impact and your leadership.
About The Role
As a Pharmacy Manager, you'll take the lead in a busy outpatient pharmacy that blends the pace and patient connection of community pharmacy with the clinical breadth of hospital care. You'll shape a service that supports patients at key moments, helping them access the right medicines, advice and follow-up, while building a strong, motivated team culture. This is a brilliant step-up opportunity if you've led people before and are ready to broaden your clinical exposure, strengthen your governance skills and develop as a confident, values-led leader.
You'll work 40 hours per week, based in a hospital setting in Welwyn Garden City. Set working times are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
About You
You'll be at your best here if you enjoy combining people leadership with safe, high-quality pharmacy practice. In this role, you'll be:
- Leading day-to-day pharmacy operations across dispensing, patient queries, a retail counter and consultation space.
- Coaching and supporting a small, established team-setting clear standards, building confidence and improving ways of working.
- Managing change with resilience, including having confident, respectful conversations when needed.
- Maintaining safe, compliant practice-keeping governance, procedures and regulatory requirements front and centre.
- Overseeing an outpatient prescription workflow, including a delivery service and a varied clinical mix (hospital experience is a bonus, not essential).
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver a patient-first service that keeps quality and experience high.
Your Benefits:
- Competitive salary with annual pay review
- Company and performance-based bonus scheme
- 27 days' annual leave + 8 bank holidays (rising to 29 days, with buy/sell options depending on service)
- GPhC registration fees reimbursed
- Blue Light Card discounts plus an excellent maternity package
- Pension scheme and ongoing training and development programmes
