General Assistant required:
Hours of work will be 15 hours per week, working Monday to Friday as follows:
Monday 9.00am-11.00am
Tuesday 9.00am -11.30am
Wed 9.00am -1.30pm (30 min unpaid break)
Thursday 9.00am-11.30am
Friday 9.00am-1.30pm (30 min unpaid break)
A general assistant position has arisen within Celtic Catering to work under the supervision of the Chef Manager to assist and carry out any instructions given in the preparation, cooking and serving of food, barista duties, cleaning processes and handling of cash.
Possession of a current Food Safety Level 2 would be an advantage. The candidate should be willing to undertake any training considered necessary for the post. Catering experience is preferred with the ability to assist in all areas of the kitchen to achieve the required standards. the applicant must have an approachable manner with commitment and teamwork towards the service.
Duties will include helping with the preparation and serving of the breakfast and lunch service within a staff canteen, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, serving customers, complying with food safety legislation and all other associated tasks as required.
