We're now looking for 2 Accounts Assistants to join our busy transactional finance team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and helping maintain strong financial controls across the business.

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring that More2Life's financial transactions are processed accurately, on time, and in line with internal controls and external requirements. This is a hands‑on role offering great exposure to core finance processes in a fast paced, regulated environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Processing system‑generated interface files
  • Monitoring fund requests and reconciling facility balances
  • Producing daily bank reconciliations and liaising with external funders
  • Posting financial transactions accurately into the accounting system across multiple companies
  • Preparing and posting month‑end accruals
  • Producing broker commission payments and statements
  • Performing reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Maintaining and improving robust financial controls
  • Supporting the development of new finance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Experience using computerised accounting systems
  • Experience posting to nominal, sales and purchase ledgers, ideally across multiple entities
  • Understanding of profit & loss and balance sheet reporting
  • Experience working to tight accounting deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Studying towards or holding a recognised accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA or similar)
