Crynodeb
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Consultants. Duties will include the following: Inpatients To provide day to day care of surgical inpatients. Clinics To support the relevant sub-specialist outpatient clinics as required. To obtain exposure and training in the assessment of breast patients for resectional and oncoplastic/reconstructive surgery. Theatres To support the service workload of the sub-specialty whilst ensuring that she/he still gains the appropriate surgical experience and exposure to Oncoplastic techniques Academic The incumbent is expected to play a contributory role in current departmental research and audit. Full support and advice will be offered. Other Attendance at weekly breast multidisciplinary meetings and breast unit business meetings and AGM. The postholder will be expected to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances and to be available for exceptional irregular commitments outside normally rostered duties where this is essential for continuity of patient care. The duties will be located in the Inpatient Wards, Outpatients Department and Theatres at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.
