Summary
My client is a wheelchair user who is determined to become more active, independent, and involved in her community. She would like to take part in hydrotherapy sessions, exercise groups, and the occasional lunch out or shopping trip — and she’s looking for a PA who can support and encourage her to do this.
What the role involves
• Supporting my client with mobility and undressing/dressing when needed (she can guide you through her preferences).
• Accompanying her to hydrotherapy or exercise groups.
• You’re welcome to join in with activities — she would love the company!
• Or, if you prefer, you can simply wait until the session finishes.
• Assisting with community outings, such as shopping or going out for lunch.
•Travel flexibility:
• If you drive, she is happy to meet you at a chosen venue.
• If not, she is equally happy to travel with you by public transport or enjoy a leisurely walk if the weather allows.
Who we’re looking for
• Someone friendly, reliable, and supportive.
• Comfortable with light personal care and mobility assistance.
• Enjoys being out in the community and helping someone stay active and engaged.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer) and references.
This employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.
Shift Pattern:
Times to be agreed with employer, but negotiable
