Job purpose
I am seeking a carer to look after me which will allow my parents some time to take my brother out for day trips that I can’t cope with. This will allow them to access things that I find unbearable. My mum and dad also deserve some time out occasionally. I am usually easy-going. I need someone to help me with tasks like opening food and making a drink. I also need help with my personal care (toileting) as going to the bathroom is a sensory overload.
About me.
My name is ‘J’, I am 13 years old. I am a generally happy teenager and I love to watch my iPad. I am at my happiest when I am at home, usually when I am upstairs in my little lounge. I have a lot of toys. My possessions are every important to me, as is my big brother ‘T’. I am a big fan of Disney, especially ‘Cars’ and ‘Toy Story’. I don’t say a lot but can communicate a little, especially if something is annoying me. I have Autism which makes going out quite tough and I don’t like big crowds. I enjoy routine and am happy visiting places that I know.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
All my personal care- toileting, changing my pad after passing water and bowel movements.
Providing me with food that I am allowed throughout the day.
Making me drinks (squash).

Checking on me during the day.
Adhere to reporting any issues, concerns to ‘J’s’ parents.
