We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to be part of our team to assist in the smooth running of internal and external examinations. This role would work very well for someone looking for employment
that doesn't require a big commitment of time.
Candidates must be available during the summer exam period which is normally from May to the end of June. For the 2026 exam season we are looking for candidates who have availability for the whole period
(7 May to 19 June), with the below dates as a priority:

Typical working hours will vary between 3-8 hours per day across either a morning, afternoon or both. The examination schedule is drawn up in advance and invigilator availability is taken into consideration as part
of the scheduling.
Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given. The role of invigilator involves supervision of students in the examination room, ensuring compliance with required standards, the issue/collection of examination papers and any other general administrative duties as required.
Applicants should be reliable, have good attention to detail and be able to communicate well with students and colleagues. A professional attitude, integrity and authority are essential, and a good standard of literacy and numeracy is required.

Grade: RS01 Point 3 (Relief / Casual Contract)
Hourly Rate: £12.85 per hour plus £2.06 per hour holiday rate; total hourly rate of £14.91 per hour
