Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £44,189.05 (equivalent to approx £17.70 per hour)
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to support a well-established logistics operation in the Basingstoke area. This role offers day shifts, competitive pay, and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Shift Patterns for the HGV 2 Driver:
Rolling Rota (5 on 2 off / 4 on 2 off / 4 on 2 off)
Start times from 05:00 - finish
What You'll Be Doing As a HGV 2 Driver:
Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to deliver goods across the UK
Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customers' homes
Handle heavy goods as part of a two-person crew
Load and unload vehicles safely
Carry out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
Follow scheduled routes and communicate with dispatch
Provide excellent face-to-face customer service
Adhere to all safety regulations and legal driving requirements
What You'll Need As An HGV 2 Driver:
A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
A strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude
Recent driving experience is desirable (new drivers welcome)
