Summary

Nursery Manager (Level 3) – £37,500

We’re recruiting for a Nursery Manager to take responsibility for the daily running of a thriving early years setting for children up to five years old. You’ll oversee curriculum delivery, quality standards, and staff leadership within a structured and well-supported environment. The role suits an experienced Manager or a senior Deputy looking to progress.

Before You Apply

  • This role requires current or recent experience as a Nursery Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager in a similar setting.
  • Applicants must hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
  • This position is not suitable for candidates without management experience in an EYFS nursery environment.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or very experienced Deputy Manager
  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS and regulatory frameworks
  • Confidence managing staff performance, compliance, and day-to-day operations
  • Experience with Ofsted inspections or regulatory processes

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day running of a busy nursery setting
  • Implement the EYFS and oversee planning, observation, and record keeping
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with parents, carers, and families
  • Work with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and external agencies as required
  • Identify training needs within the team and support staff development planning
