Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you have a NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. The Emergency Department is looking for Band 2 HCA to join the Emergency Department Team. You will be responsible for supporting nursing staff within ED. The HCA will be expected to carry out specific tasks as allocated by Registered Nurse in charge of the area. You will need to be dynamic and enthusiastic in your role, as the ED is fast paced and is faced with new challenges every day. You need to be able to work within the trust values.

We require caring, professional people who are keen to learn and provide good nursing care to patients attending the ED. We are family friendly and flexible with shifts.

Band 2s will not be eligible for sponsorship as these roles will not meet the required skill level (RQF 3 or A level and above), despite having their salary increase



The band 2 HCA is a key member of the Emergency Department Team. You will provide a high standard of basic nursing care to enhance the patient journey through the department.

You will work closely with the nursing staff across the emergency floor. You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and have opportunities to learn skills and knowledge.
