Crynodeb
To participate fully in the pharmacy topping up service to wards and departments within the Trust, including raising and assembling of orders on the Pharmacy computer system. To raise concerns regarding drug storage on the wards with the Pharmacy Distribution Manager. To assist in the addition of new products and bar codes to the Omnicell cabinets. To liaise with the supplier under supervision of the lead technician or IT/Data analyst regarding system issues and upgrades. To actively take part in the addition and deletion of items in the Omnicell cabinets and server. To assist in the assembly and checking of ward boxes for the distribution of pharmaceuticals to wards, departments and other units on all sites across the Trust. To participate in the daily stock discrepancy and investigation form and highlight discrepancies to the lead dispensary technician. To be responsible for the safe custody of the pharmacy stores.
