I am looking for a special someone to support my lively, loveable 14-year-old son who has a diagnosis of ASD and can display behaviours which challenge. The role involves providing one-to-one support at home and in the community.

He enjoys one-to-one time with an assistant and builds strong relationships with people who are friendly, calm and kind.

The PA will support with toileting and dressing where needed, and always ensure his safety, particularly near roads. Occasional support at special events may also be required. Clear communication with the parents about all aspects of his care and activities is an important part of the role.

The hours are 4hrs term time and 8hrs in the school holidays, we may wish to use more hours in the school holidays and less hours in term time, we can discuss this at interview. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting a child to feel happy, secure and confident in his everyday life.

Experience in working with children with ASD is preferred.

Duties include:
