KS2 Teaching Assistant – The Role
A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 4. The pupil has a diagnosis of ASD and requires consistent, patient support to engage with learning, manage behaviour, and develop social skills.

This role requires a nurturing individual who can build a trusting relationship, implement personalised learning strategies, and support the child in accessing the KS2 curriculum. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored academic and emotional support, alongside behaviour management strategies.

Experience supporting children with autism and managing challenging behaviour is essential. Knowledge of KS2 curriculum and structured learning approaches is highly desirable.

Pay: £16–£20 per hour, dependent on experience.
