Crynodeb
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) is seeking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in support of the existing plastic Services providing clinical outpatient care to patients under consultant supervision. The specialty has strong links throughout west yorkshire and neighbouring organisations. The post holder may be expected to join the weekly MDT to discuss patients. There are potential opportunities for training placements in the tertiary treatment centre. The successful applicant will work within CHFT providing clinical services to the population of Calderdale and Huddersfield
The plastic services currently provide care for over 5000 attendances per annum for the diagnosis and treatment of potential skin cancer and benign services. Outpatient and theatres un from both sites across Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital.
Outpatient Work
• Support Consultants in the outpatient department, seeing new patients, patients on follow up and the delivery of minor operation procedures
Inpatient Work
The post holder will be expected to take responsibility for supervision and management of inpatient referrals
Your duties will include continuing clinical responsibility to the named consultants to whom you are responsible

This is a Full Time post providing 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), but applicants wishing to work part-time are also encouraged to apply and job plans will be adjusted accordingly, and by negotiation with appointees.
