Summary
Qualified Social Worker
Nova Star is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to carry out risk assessments for adults in the Brent area.
This role is ideal for a practitioner who is confident working independently, has strong assessment skills, and is comfortable working with individuals who may have complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out comprehensive risk and housing needs assessments in line with statutory and best-practice frameworks
• Identify and manage safeguarding risks, including vulnerabilities and support needs
• Produce clear, timely, and high-quality written reports
• Liaise with local authorities, support providers, and other professionals where required
• Ensure all work is compliant with safeguarding and data protection requirements
Requirements
• Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
• Proven experience completing risk and/or safeguarding assessments
• Strong knowledge of adult safeguarding and multi-agency working
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
• Experience working in Brent or London boroughs is desirable
