Crynodeb
Technical Responsibilities: Perform tests and assays on all samples as necessary, according to established protocols and required standards. Ensure that documentation e.g. patient records and manual testing worksheets are maintained to both local and Trust standards (including electronic records). Undertake technical validation of laboratory investigations, ensuring accuracy and precision of all results Prioritise samples for processing and results for issuing Validate and release clinical results onto iLab system, where results are then available to service users Ensure that abnormal results are reported to the appropriate person. Service and maintain all specialist equipment according to manufacturers instructions and good laboratory practice. Carry out basic analyser trouble shooting Ensure procedures for maintaining equipment are followed Maintain adequate stocks and ensure efficient use of reagents and consumables.
