Our client, a well-established organisation in the automotive industry, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Warranty Claims Assessor to become a key part of their expanding repairs team based in Reading, Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated professionals with a background in automotive service or technical roles to progress their career within a dynamic environment. The Warranty Claims Assessor will play a vital responsibility in assessing warranty repairs for motorists across the UK, ensuring high standards of service and technical accuracy.

- Up To £32,500 Basic Salary / £37,500 OTE!
- Monday To Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm / 1 Saturday In 4 (9am - 4pm)

Duties as a Warranty Claims Assessor:
- Assess warranty repair claims using industry-standard software and processes aligned with policy terms
- Manage repairs across a network of over 10,000 workshops nationwide
- Communicate effectively with workshops and customers via phone, email, and internal systems
- Ensure accurate diagnosis, including causes and costs of mechanical and electrical failures
- Verify parts and labour costs, sourcing reconditioned or refurbished parts where appropriate
- Process customer contributions towards repairs
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support throughout the claims process
- Handle additional duties as directed by management to support operational efficiency
Requirements for the Warranty Claims Assessor role:
- Automotive or mechanical background with experience as a service advisor, technician, or engineer
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication ability
- Knowledge of warranty procedures and claims processing
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and industry software
- Ability to manage repairs efficiently and accurately
- Organised with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
