Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid CSCS Card.
- Possess Asbestos Awareness certification.
- Proven experience in bricklaying, particularly in restoration and heritage projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Day-to-Day
- Laying bricks and blocks to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Mixing and applying lime mortar for heritage restoration projects.
- Inspecting and assessing existing brickwork for restoration needs.
- Adhering to project specifications and ensuring work aligns with architectural plans.
- Communicating with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth project progression.
