Do you have a strong background in the trees, timber, or wider arboriculture and forestry sectors? Do you enjoy working with people, supporting skills development, and helping learners grow in confidence?
If so, this could be a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the industry.
We are seeking an Apprenticeship Work‑Based Technical Skills Coach (Trees & Timber) to support apprentices on Higher and Degree Apprenticeship programmes. This is a highly rewarding role, working with apprentices and employers across England to ensure every learner gains the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for success.
In this role, you will provide one‑to‑one and group coaching, carry out industry‑relevant progress checks, support off‑the‑job training, and guide apprentices through their full journey from onboarding through to End Point Assessment.
Primarily home‑based, you will work closely with apprentices and employers by hosting online progress review meetings and completing apprenticeship documentation using the college’s e‑portfolio system, OneFile. You will also play a vital role in pastoral support, target setting, compliance monitoring, and helping apprentices overcome barriers to learning.
Whether you already have experience as a coach or assessor, or you’re a skilled industry professional ready for your next career step, we will support you with training and development to help you excel in this role.
