Your new company
We are recruiting on behalf of a long‑established electrical contractor with over six decades of industry experience. They deliver high‑quality electrical installations, testing, inspection, maintenance, and renewable‑energy solutions across the UK. Their projects span commercial, industrial, domestic, education, healthcare, retail, and heritage environments, and they are accredited under leading UK industry bodies, ensuring consistently safe and compliant work.
Your new role
As the Junior Electrical Project Manager, you will support senior project managers in delivering electrical installation and refurbishment projects across a diverse client base. You will create and update technical drawings using CAD and Revit, assist with project coordination, attend site visits, support planning and procurement, and help maintain compliance with UK regulatory standards. The role includes involvement in modern and sustainable electrical solutions such as EV charging, LED upgrades, and solar PV systems.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit for electrical drawings and layouts.
- A foundational understanding of electrical engineering or building services.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to support multiple live projects.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and comfort working across office and site environments.
- Desirable: experience in electrical contracting, knowledge of NICEIC/ECA standards, familiarity with renewable‑energy systems, and a full UK driving licence.
What you'll get in return
You'll join a highly reputable, well‑established contractor with a strong presence across the East Midlands and nationwide. You will gain exposure to a wide range of projects-including heritage refurbishments, commercial fitouts, industrial installations, and renewable‑energy systems-while being supported by an experienced project and engineering team. The organisation offers structured development and clear progression toward full project management responsibilities.
