Summary
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Hospital Cleaner to support our client site at St Albans Hospital.
Job overview:
Role: Hospital Cleaner
Location: St Albans
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Shift: Rota based shifts, 6-9pm (3 hrs per day but paid as 4 hrs)
Contract: Temporary
This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a hospital environment. You will be responsible for cleaning wards, clinical areas and communal spaces, following strict health and safety and infection control procedures.
Key responsibilities:
• Cleaning hospital wards, corridors, bathrooms and communal areas
• Following infection control and health and safety guidelines at all times
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
• Maintaining high hygiene standards across all assigned areas
• Working efficiently as part of a rota-based team
Requirements:
• Previous hospital or healthcare cleaning experience is essential
• Valid DBS check is required
• Reliable, punctual and able to work rota-based shifts
• Good attention to details
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment
