Crynodeb
Our client in the Hortonwood area of Telford is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to work in their team.
The role requires mainly visual inspection against written and pictorial work instructions, and recording findings on inspection paperwork along with computer data entry. There will also be the need to use measurement equipment. Where necessary, there could be a requirement to visit customer sites to support the inspection of products should we be made aware of any issues. As part of a flexible team, the role may also require supporting the Production areas to ensure we maintain production and achieve customer orders.
Candidates will need to have some QC experience, ideally within an automotive, medical or food inspection environment
We are looking for people with the following:
• A great eye for detail
• An intermediate level of English, both spoken and written – applicants need to be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English
• Able to carry out a degree of manhandling, but there is no heavy lifting
• Able to learn new skills
• Ability to use measuring equipment would be an advantage, but is not essential as it could be taught
• Self-motivated and hardworking, and comfortable working alone and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently to target and delivery deadlines
Shifts are Days Monday to Thursday 8:15 to 16:30 Fri 8:15 to 15:15 including breaks.
