A well-established specialist SEN school in Central Manchester is looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role offers invaluable experience working with pupils who require tailored support in a specialist environment.
The Role : As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will :
• Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access learning and manage emotions
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals
• Implement behaviour support plans and deliver targeted interventions
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment to promote academic and emotional growth
This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain first-hand experience in specialist education and therapeutic practice. It provides a strong foundation for future PGCE, MSc Psychology, or therapy pathways.
