Hours: Negotiable (ideally 9:00-5:00 or 10:00-6:00)
Our client, a well-established transport and logistics business is seeking a Transport Administrator to support its depot-based operations.
This role is ideal for an organised and detail-focused administrator with experience in transport or logistics, looking for a stable role with flexibility around working hours.
The roleWorking within a busy transport environment, you'll provide administrative and operational support to the transport team, helping ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly and compliance standards are met.
Key duties (overview)- Supporting daily transport and fleet administration
- Liaising with drivers, supervisors, and external suppliers
- Maintaining transport, compliance, and training records
- Assisting with driver hours and tachograph administration
- Supporting vehicle servicing, inspections, and defect processes
- Using transport and fleet management systems
- Contributing to health & safety and operational standards
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, or fleet administration
- Good understanding of transport operations and compliance
- Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office and related systems)
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Clear communicator and effective team player
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- £26,000 annual salary
- Negotiable working hours (9-5 or 10-6 preferred)
