Metal Fabricator
We are currently looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator for one of our clients based in the Halesfield area.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Breaks: Paid breaks
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components to specification, working from technical drawings, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate metal components using mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminium
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using hand tools and machinery
- Carry out welding; MIG welding experience would be beneficial
- Use grinders, drills, saws, and fabrication equipment safely
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures
- Proven experience as a metal fabricator
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience working with various metals
- Welding experience preferred; MIG welding advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
